NELSON POULTRY ASSOCIATION.

THE ANNUAL SHOW. The nineteenth annual Show of the Nelson Poultry, J !;-"on and Canary Association opened af the Drill "Stied yesterday. Close upon one thousand birds were penned 1 some of the specimens being very fine. Judging was commenced at half-past nine in the morning, and was not; concluded until five o'clock. In the Wyandotte classes the score card system was adopted, and although it may have many advantages, it is a very lengthy method of adjudication. Last evening there was a very good attendance at the Show, wnieb will be open again this afternoon and evening, also to-morrow. To-night, at nine o'clock, a supper will be held in the Co-Operatve Kooms, Hardy street, and tickets may be obtained from the Secretary.
