BUTTER COMMITTEE'S REPORT.

It is understood that the recommendations limit the moisture to sixten percent; insist on registration and inspection of factories: prohibit the addition of vegetable fat: do not interfere with milkblended butter, but suggest it should be sold under a special name; suggest that the importation of adulterated butter should be proportionate to the magnitude of consignment.
