Carterton, July 10. At a public meeting held last night it was decided to support the New Zealand National Seddon memorial to be erected at Wellington, fthe capital city; that the. Mayor of Wellington be requested to invite each electorate in the Colony to send one delegate to a conference to be held at Wellington at an early date to consider the nature of the memorial ; that the Government be ; urged to set aside the Mount Cook site for a Memorial Technical College, such College to be free to students from all parts of the Colony who possess the qualification. Mr Hornsby, M.H.H. , was appointed as tho delegate to the public meeting to j be held at Wellington on Wednesday night. j ■
