, CHARGE OF MURDEK. New Plymouth, July 10. At the Eltham S.M. Court today Carl Schieker was committed to the Supreme Court at New Plymouth on the charge of the murder of John Rollin at Kapongia on tho 30th of June. The parties were Swiss milkkers, and it is alleged that during a quarrel over a girl the accused struck Roltin on the head with an axe handle, the blow proving fatal.
