RESOLUTION BY DRUIDS.

Previous to the ordinary business of the Maitai Lodge, No. 10, U A.0.D. , on June 14 the following resolution was proposed by P. D.P. Bro. 11. W. Oakley, prefaced by a few appreciative remarks on the late Mr Seddon's efforts to place the Friendly Societies of tho Colony on a sound basis: — ''That this Lodge desires to place on record its grief at the death of the Right Hon. Mr Seddon, Premier of New Zealand, and at the loss sustained by tho Colony and its Friendly Societies, and desires to express its sympathy with Mrs Soddon and her children at the irreparable calamity which has overtaken them, and directs that, a copy oi" this resolution be forwarded through the Hon. Mr HallJones to tho widow and her family." The resolution was seconded by P. A. Bro Karsten, and carried in silence, the members remaining standing during the passing of the resolution.
