Seddon. I "J. PIPER, " Mayor. " Later the Mayor received the following reply from Mr Hull- Jones: "On behalf of Mrs Seddon and her family and my colleagues. I have to j thank you for your kindly messaga of | sympathy in their great irreparable loss sustained by the death of our loved and honored Premier. His life 4 was a devotion to duty and tho uplilting of humanity. while his tender] sympathies and wide consideration! endeared him to all. His great work] for the Colony and tho Empire will} ever cause his name to be revered. i "WM. II ALL- JONES." j Mr John Graham, M.H.R., despatched the following telegram to] the Acting-Premier:— "News of Premier's death came as great shock. Convey deepest sympathy bereaved family and colleagues. Lonjr since learned fco know and respect him as a genuine friend j — now, alas, he is gone. I "JOHN GRAHAM." Mr Graham received the following reply :— "On behalf of Mrs Seddon and her faimly I -thaus you for your kind message of sympathy and condolence in the irreparable loss we have sustained in the death of our loved and honored Premier.
