WOOL SALES AT NAPIER.
Napier, February 14. The third wool sale of the season took place this afternoon when a * total of *30&3£bnle3 were offered. There was a full attendance of buyers, and, in sympathy with the j improved Bradford quotations, an advance of J4d was realised on last sale rates "for most sorts. The following prices were obaioed: — £ Medium crossbred in fair condition, j lOd to 10_M_d: coarse crossbred bright <; 9}£d to lOd; inferior coarse cross- ' bred,'B*^_d to 9d; medium crossbred pieces, 7d to . 7£_>d ; inferior pieces, 6d to 7d ; locks, 4d to sd: superior I bright lambs, lOd to lO'&d : average lambs, 9d to 9J^d : inferior lambs, Td to B^jd (according to Conditions). .
