EGG LAYING COMPETITION.

Christchurch, February 12. Last week 656 eggs were laid at the egg-laying competition at Lincoln Agricultural College, bringing tho grand total for the 41 weeks up to 26,681 eggs. The highest aggregates now stand as follows:— H. Hawfte, silver wyandottes, 10H1 ; J, Mann, white wyandottes, 922: and J. H. Shaw, brown leghorns, 919.
