At the Magistrate's Court to day, William Tfiomaon, a warder at Sunny side Mental Hospital; was committed for trial for an assault on a male patient on September sib, He struck the patient, cutting and braising his eyes, and causing abrasians on the face, neck, and hands. Thomson was under the influence of liquor at the time. He haE been dismissed as a warder.
