FIRE IN BLENHEIM.

Blenheim, September 51. A fire broke out last night at 10.30 in Frank Mullen's draper shop in the centre of the town, but it was suppressed by means of the Fire Brigade's chemical engine before much damage was done. This engine has been of great service on several occasions. A portion of the goods were damaged by fire, and the fittings and roof were slightly charred. The insurances are £500 on the stock in the London and Liverpool and Globe Office; £350 on the building in the Phoenix; and £50 on the fittings.
