THE VOUCHER CASE.

Christchurch, September 16. Mr B. M. Lichh'eld, manager of the Bauk of New Zealand at Christchurch, emphatically denies that any teller of the Bank of New Zea> land said that he had seen a cheque bearing on the voucher, and says he is ready to confront Mr Willis with the whole staff, from the accountant to the messenger, each one of whom will deny ever stating to prominent business men that such a cheque had been seen, or that any business men had ever asked for information of the kind.
