EUGBY UNION. A well attended meeting of the Rugby Union was held at Mr Stallard's rooms last evening, when the following resolutions were adopted: — That A. Newton be transfered from the Collingwood to the Albion Club ; that the seven-a-side tournament be held on Monday, sth. inst. ; that a combined team — Nelson-Col-lege versus Albion- Rival play at Trafalgar Park at 3 p.m.; that invitations be sent to the Stoke and St. Andrew's Orphanage, the Mental Hospital, and Old People's Home to attend the seven-a-side tournament; that a combined junior country team play a combined junior town team, date to be fixed hereafter ; gthat trophies be presented to the winners of the seven-a-side tournament after the match by Mrs E. Cresswell.
