F., M.U. v The half-yearly financial summoned meeting of the above Lodge was held • at the Oddfellows' Hall, on Wednesd ay evening, when there was a fair 6 . attendance of mambers present. The balance sheet and Auditor's report 13 was presented to the Lodge, and 1 adopted, and a compliment paid to \ the Secretary (Bro. A. N: Batchelor) L f for the able manner in which he had • kept the books of the Lodge. The c Sick and Funeral Fund has a credit balance of £6749 2s, being an increase c for the year of £247 5s sd. The > amount disbursed for sick pay during c the half year was £213 3s 9d. The c Management Fund has a credit c balance of £39 Is 6d, and the sum of £ £35 16s lid was paid over to the c District Widow and Orphan's Fund. 0 The Lodge suprlus Funeral Fund account has a credit of £1143 5s Bd, . the largest amount standing to the s credit of the oldest members partieis pating in this surplus being £8 6s y 3d. The Lodge Surgeon, Dr. Hud--1 son, was present, and was congratulated upon the able and skilful ■ manner in which he had attended to ' tbe Medical and surgical comforts ' of the members during a period of ? upwards of 20 years. He was unanimZ ously elected for the ensuing term. The question of the disposal of the " Theatre Royal and land was fully " discussed, and a resolution giving! 3 the Trustees full powers was unanim- " ously passed. The complete amend--1 ments of thef Lodge rules, were fully 1 gone into and passed, and the Secret ary was directed to get them registered.^ The following members were j appointed as delegates to attend the 1 next District Meeting:— Bros. A. N. 1 Batchelor, H. V. Gully, W. Moyes, J. E. Clear, and B. Crisp. The • Prov. Deputy Grand Master, Bro. • W. Dickson Harkness,paid an official i visit, and installed the following Brothers into their respective offices :
