A telegram was reoeived last night stating that the Cortick Family left Westport by steamer for Nelson, but that tbe vessel had to put back in consequence of the weather, and therefore the opening of the Nelsgn season could not take place as arranged. The performance, which was announced for to-night, cannot therefore be given, and at present it is impossible to 3tatelwhen these popular entertainers can reach this city.
