AN OLD SETTLER MISSING.
SUPPOSED TO BE DBOWNED. Otjb own correspondent at Murchison telegraphed yesterday as follows: — "Thomas May, of MataMtaki, is missing. He is supposed to have been drowned while crossing the river on Sunday evening. A search party is now out." <Mr T. H. May was for many years a storekeeper at Matakitaki and is very well known throughout the Buller district and also in Nelsen. Mr May was in Nelson a little over a week back on business,]
