THE VICTORIAN TEAM.

A Press Association telegram states that as the Victorian team must leave Dunedin either by the Monowai on March 12th, or the Waikare on March 19th, either Wanganui or Nelson must be cut out of the programme, and alternate programmes as follows have been submitted to the Victorians for them to make the decision :—

No. 1, via Wanganui : Auckland, February 15-17; Wanganui, 21—22; Wellingtons 24—27; Canterbury, March 2—5; Otago, 9—12; New Zealand (at Christchurch), 15-17.

No. 2, via Nelson: Auckland, February 15—17 ; Wellington, 22— 24 ; Nelson, 26-28 ; Canterbury, March 3—6; and the Otago and New Zealand matches as in No* 1 programme. By 6 to 4 the Council decided to leave the selection of the New Zealand team to one selector.
