STOKE ROAD BOARD.

The monthly mooting of this Board was held on Saturday afternoon, all the members being present, Mr Coleman in the obair. The minutes were confirmed, and the Overseer's report was adopted.

Resolved, that Messrs A. AHport, Q. Best, and the Overseer arrange about gravel from St Mary'd at Stoke. Resolved, that Mr Glasgow be allowed to take too loads of gravel from the pit io put the road in order from the oenire of the main road to his boundary.

In reply to a letter from Mr J. Rutherford, it Kits resolved to give a donation of £25 towards making a road round the rooks in Aniseed Valley. Resolved, to grant the Riohmond Fire Brigade permission to erect gallows for drying ho^e at tha rear of the station, the work io be done to the approval of the Overseer.

Resolved, that the Swamp road be attended to.

Resolved, to place a few loads of gravel on the Aniseed Valley Hill road, opposite Miss Johnson's property. A number of small works weto ordered to be done.

The tender of Mr Joa. Boson for forming watertables Aniseed Valley, at 2a per chain was aooepted, and that of Messrs Higgins and Bryant for supplying 2000 feet of heart of black birob, at 9a Gil per 100, was also accepted. Payments were passed amounting to £53 183.
