WAIMEA WEST ROAD BOARD,

Tub ordinary meeting of the Waimea West Road Board was held on June Ist. On the motion of Mr Disher, Mr W. L. Palmer was eleoted Chairman for the ensuing year. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. -„-,.. On a letter read from Mr P. Martin re the overflow of water, it was resolved, as the matter had been before the Board before, the letter lie on the table. Mr Arnold called the attention of the Board to a bank near Mr Hunter's. Proposed by Mr Satherley and seconded by Mr Disher, that the Overseer inspect same and report at next meeting. Resolved, on the motion of Mr Satherley, that a day's work with three teams be done on Riverbed Road, also one day on Aldourie Road.

The Secretary wag authorised to invite lenders for day carts for the ensuing year, lenders to be in by next meeting. Vouchers were Bigned for £4 19s Bd.
