CRICKET.

The cricket match New South Wales v. South Australia began to-day. Tbe visitors went in first and scored 162, Kelly 50, Donnan 35, MacKenzie 34, and Garratt 13 being the chief scores. Jones took 5 wickets for 69, and Evans 4 for 46. The home team have lost one wicket for 47, Darling and Lyons are both not out with 19 and 21 respectively. The weather was fine, and the wicket in good order. There was a large attendance of the public. Iredale was dismissed first ball, and Gregory failed to score. MacKenzie and Donnan made a good stand, and levered up the game considerably. Kelly played patient and correct cricket for his score.
