CYCLING.

At the Cyclists' Union meeting the Ten Mile Amateur Championship of New South Wales was won by New, Cameron 2, Hamilton 3. lime, 26mins 37secs. Melbourne, December 18.

The cycling contests between Parsons and Martin took place to-day. In the mile race Martin won. The pace was very slow until the last lap, when after a splendid finish the American won by half a wheel. The five mile race was a gift to Martin, who estabtablished a long lead from the start, and Parsons, who never had a chance, pulled out in the last lap. Time, lOrains 23 l-sth sees. Martin went out alone, and lowered the ten mile Australasian record, covering the distance in 21mins 24 4-sth sees
