HEALTH LECTURES.

Dr. Earn.- B. Rydeb delivered the last of her series of lectures to ladies at the Provincial Hall yesterday afternoon, when the attendance was very large. The doctor gave a great deal of valuable information to wives and mothers, and at the conclusion of her address thanked the ladies of Nelson for their attendance at her lectures, observing that she would look upon her visit to Nelson as a bright experience. It had been a pleasure to address her audiences in this city, while the ladies she had met privately had been most kind. She alluded to her Indian Mission, and thanked the people for their attendance and the substantial collection realised. She also expressed her gratification at the establishment of a local centre through which money for the object in view would pass. Tbe officers for the Nelson circle are -Mrs Quaine, President ; Mrs Turner and Mrs Fordhan, Secretary and Treasurer respectively. She expressed a hope that if anyone felt benefit from her instruction their thanks offerings might be devoted to relieving the child wives of India. Dr. Ryder, at the close of her final lecture, was thanked by many of the ladies present for her most valuable information, and that her lectures have been highly appreciated has heen a very evident iact.
