DOVEDALE.

The annual meeting of householders was held in the Dovedala Schoolroom on Monday evening at the time appointed by advertisement. Mr H Kenyon, Chairman of the Committee, ocoupied the chair, and called upon the Secretary to read the balance sheet, which was adopted. A vote of thanks to the Secretary was carried for the way in which he had kept the accour ts, and the trouble he had taken in connection with the work of the School Committee ; also to the Chairman for so ably filling the position, after which an election took place, when the following persons were duly elected : — H Kenyon, G Thomas, D Cozens, J Rose, W Thorn, N Win, and J Loveridge. At a sub-equent meeting of the newly-elected Committee, Mr Kenyon was chosen Chairman, and Mr Win Secretary (both re-elected).
