CHURCHILL (DOVEDALE).
The householders met at the Churchill School at Doveda'e at the time appointed for the election of the local Sohool Committee. Mr J Lammas wa* voted to the chair. The balance sheet hiving been read and adopted after some discus-ion, tea householders wera then nominated, necessitating a ballot, with the following result: — Messrs E Davis, A Davis, A Jordan, I Inwood, W Hooton, O Davies, and T Snook. At a meeting o! the new Committee, Mr A Jordan waa eleoted Chairman, and Mr T Snook Secretary.
