Sib.- In your contemporary's issue of Wednesday, I notice a correspondent signing himse'f " Well Wisher" re " the mistehavior of school-children in the trains, on this , line — and suggesting — it no improvement takes place in their behavior, a covered waggon be put on for their As a oonstant traveller, I heartily endoreethis, as time after time have I heard the officials on the train caution these same, to the effect that constant complaints are made against their behavior, and if they can only oatch them in the act, an example will be made. ' Now, Sir, how are they to be caught in the act, by those in charge of the train ? The guard passes through from carriage to carriage, to reach his brake-van, where his principal duties lay 1 While he passes through, they are of course as quiet as lambs, until his back is turned, then commences their misbehaviour, it is very annoying, and very trying to the offioials to have these complaints and I think to pat a stop to it, we a3 travellers should take the names, or at least take a note of those offending, and hand the same to the guard when he again passes through, when I am convinced an improvement will at once take place, as no doubt the Department being then in possession of the nameß of the offenders, will apprise the school teachers, aa also use their own discretion, whether or not to carry sach offending passengers.
