Wwjjngton, December 13. . The ' Gazette ' notifies that anything contained in Order in Council of January sth, 1888, under the provision of " The Education Act, 1877," relating {inter alia) to attendance on , the registers and returns, the payment of capitation allowance to the Education Boards for the quarter ending on 31 day of December, 1893, shall be according to the working average attendance of the last preceding quarter as the working average is defined by Order in Council, dated sth diy of July, 1887, and under the provision of the beforementioned Act. The appointments of Collectors of Agricultural Statistics are gazetted, and Mr R. W. McKerrow is appointed a member of the Otago Land Board.' The members of Parliament elected at the last General Election are ' Gazetted. 1
