Vital Statistics.

Wblungton, December 14. The vital statistics show the mortality for the month of November at the four principal Cities was not bo low as in Ootober, the number of deaths having risen from 6 to 15, and tbe proportion percent, of deaths from all causes rose from 6*45 to 14*42. Measles are s ill observed- at Auckland and Christohurch. but there was only one case at 'each town last month. Scarletina caused death at Auckland; influenza, one at Dnnedin, and diphtheria, one at Wellington. There were also at the four principal towns three deaths from-' whodping; oloqgh;;. two, -from typhoid J^ver, "and "three from diarrhoea.
