THE THEATRE.

"LITTLE OFD F&U \*TLEF.O Y." Last night a s* ill larger euiience greeted iho KHDh-'dy Coriipiny'dp th-oi* second appearance, and the performance of "L'tt'B lord Faunileroy" was greeted with unstinted applause. litile Rnhy Kennedy in the title role gava so natural and uaafleoted a rendering of the delightful creation of Mrs Frances Hodgson's that everj one was charmed— we can say no more. As the Earl of Dorincourt, Mr Frank Norton impersonated t 1 c stately but kindly-hear el nobleman admirably, and Mr Harry Sa villa soored another sucoesaaß the solioitor, Mr Haversham. Mr Eennedy had a congenial part; as Silas Hobbs, and, needless to gay, he made the most of it. As Dick, the bootblack, Mr Moss filled tbe part capitally, and Mr Coulter deserves praise for his impersonation of Farmer Higgins. Miss Lily Hill had scope for her abilities in the character of Mrs Errol, in the impersonation of whioh she evinoed great depth of feeling, and Miss Robinson was eminently successful as Minna. The minor parts were creditably filled. It is also due to say that the scenery was good, and that the dresses were really handsome, while the stage appointments reflected great credit on the Company — we understand that Mr Badclyffe is entitled to the credit for the stage furnishing, whioh was excellent. This evening the old favorite play of the " Lancashire Lass " is to be produced, and the revival should command a bumper house. Mr Kennedy long ago made a name as the '• Party by the name of Johnson," and we j shall be greatly disappointed if this performance does not prove an unqualified succesß.
