'The Times' in an article on the shearers difficulty in Queensland; praises the action of the Government, and the successful resistance that they offered to the demands oi the men. It also praisea the loyalty and discipline of the defence force, and tha good sense and moderation displayed by the mas? of tbe community. Pickets have looked op two thousand omnibußses, but have allowed the horses to be fed. The public strongly sympathise with the men ia their endeavor to secure the concession of twelve hoard per day. It is believed that the strike will largely result in the ticket system being adopted with a view of stopping the peculation that is known to be carried on.
