LONG PLAIN.
The reault of the meeting of householders for the election of a new Committee was that the following gentlemen were returned for the ensuing year:— Messrs Alex. Spittall, John Staples, E. A. Gooch, Thomas Hume, Thos. Hitchcock junr, H. Hitchoook, and A. E. Langford, the last named gentleman being re-elected Chairman.
