Humphrey y. Olive*: Judgement aumnons for £5 15s sd. Order made for payment in seven days, in default ont months imprisonment in Nelson gaol. E. Christian v. John Barry: Claim £5 2s 6d, for monty lent and interest. Mr Pitt appeared for plaintiff for whom judgment was given, with costs £112 a Gd. Hooper v. Collins: Claim £3, being price of a horse sold. Judgment for plaintiff with costs 6a. - G. FJemiagv. G. Westrupp: Claim £1 5a 3d. For goods supplied. Judgment tor plaintiff with costs 6s" John Gay v. Wm. McConkey: Claim £12 ss. Mr Harper appeared for plaintiff, for whom judgment waa given with costs £110s 6d. I ! F. N. Jones v. John White of Westport: Claim £6 17s for goods supplied. Mr Harley appeared for the plaintiff. The defendant's evidence had bee.i taken at Westport. Mr Harley called the plaintiff Frederick Nelson Jones, who proved the purchase of the articleß in question by the defendant, and their being forwarded to Westport. Edward Wainhouae, shopman at Mr Jones shop, proved that the defendant had ordered the goods, and that he had packel the goods, and they were shown to the defendant in his preienoe, and defendant said "very well." . Mr Harley having addressed the Bench. Judgment was given for the amount claimed with costs £2.

Themai Bray was charged with the hroeny of 1 owt. of sorap lead from tht premise* of Mrs Phillips of Waimea street. The accused pleaded guilty, and Sergt. Whife put in two previous oonviotioas. In answer to the Chairman the acoasedsaid he had nothing ta say, and the Bench sentenced him to three month* imprisonment with hard labor.
