TELEGRAPHIC. FIRE AT CHRISTCHURCH.
| (fbom ottb own cobbmpondent.) Chbistchtjbch, Sunday, Dec. 26, 5 p.m. A fire broke out here-at I'3o'thia morning, in Cashel-street buildings, and destroyed the premises of Messrs. Beath, Kirby, and Co., drapers, Mr. Pratt draper, Mr. Lane, butcher, a storehouse of Mr, Duncan, seedsman, part of A 1 Hotel, and a number of other buildings,' in the rear of the row, were consumed' The stock and buildings are pretty well insured. A private telegram, received by Messrs. Morrison, Sclanders, & Co., says, that the fire caught Cashel House in the rear, over the millinery reserve room; the stock in this portion was damaged by removal and water, but the general Btock was undisturbed.
