MOTUEKA.
Stamps at the Post-Office —It is often serviceable to persons desirous of transmitting small sums of money, of 10s. or so, to do so by means of postagestamps. It saves trouble and delay, and such remittances are usually acceptable. But it is impossible to get them at the Motueka post-office. A correspondent complains that the supply of stamps here is far too small, and that, in fact, it is " very rarely that people can get more than are required for letters immediately under despatch, and sometimes not even these." This is a state of things which should be remedied at once, if the- post-office at Motueka is to be as serviceable as it ought to b*.
