SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC GOOD PROGRAMME OF SPORTS (Contributed) Last Saturday saw many excited children arriving at the farm of Mr Percy Frost at Te Rahu for the annual picnic of the Hairini Sunday School. The hopes of the children were soon realised, for before long a very exciting sports programme was in full swing. A pillow-fight rail proved most popular for spare moments and great were fhe thrills and spills! Very appetising refreshments satisfied healthy appetites and there was no need to announce the arrival of the ice-cream and the lolly-man. At the conclusion of the day the prize giving took place, the lovely prizes delighting the hearts of the children. The winners were as follows: —
