DANCE AT TE RAHU

JUNIOR NATIONAL PARTY A very good attendance of dancers made the evening at the Te Rahu Hall a most successful one on Wednesday night last when the Te Awamutu Junior National Party held its first dance for 1950. This was the beginning of a new season of similar functions and was a highly popular event, promising well for those to come later.

Music was supplied by Mi- George Vercoe and' his Orchestra and in charge ’of proceedings was Mr Jim White, secretary of the section, who proved a most capable M.C. A dance competition was held during the evening and was won by Miss Betty Dunn and Mr Bill Neill-

The committee in charge of supper provided a very delicious repast and one of ample quantity. Dancing continued after supper until the National Anthem at midnight brought a very happy evening to a close.
