Mr J. L. Wallis, chairman of the Otorohanga County Council was reelected county representative on the No. 2B District Highways Council at last Monday’s meeting of the Otorohanga County Council.

Mr C. F. Aderman, brother of Mr E. P- Aderman, M.P. for New Plymouth, retained his seat in the Australian Commonwealth House of Representatives in Saturday’s elections. He is a member of the Australian Country Party.

Congratulations to Mrs Hilda Ross, M.P., on her re-election to Parliament and on attaining Ministerial rank itfere extended on behalf of the Waikato Hospital Board by the chairman, Mr H. D. Caro at Monday’s meeting of the board. “I love my work on the board,” said Mrs Ross “This is the last thing I shall give up.”

Mr A. C. Burgess, secretary of the Waikato Hospital Board, will leave on Sunday for a holiday in Tasmania. The resignations of Sisters M. E. Crawford, J. Green, R. L. Condon, E. M. Trotter, F. M.
