First wool Auction For Seven Years
Wool will once again be sold on the open market in New Zealand week—the first time for seven years.The first auction sale of cr.utchings —will be held in Wellington on Wednesday. It is not expected to give a significant lead on values, which will be determined with more accuracy when the main clip comes on a free market in November. Expectations are that about 5000 bales will be catlor Ihe first Wellington sale. This will include 3000 bales of stock wool on behalf of tlie Wool Disposal CopTinifusion, which Has set'itself the target of selfing 100,000 bales of stock wool, in - New Zealand this season.'
