FIGURES FOR MARCH Mr W. Jeffery advices that the rainfall in Te Awamutu for the past quarter was as follows: January 2.34 inches, against 3.23 inches for Jam uary, 1942; February this year 2.60 inches (February, 1942, 1.06 inches); March this year, 1.34 (March, 1942, 1.13 inches). The driest March on record was in 1938, when no rain was registered.
