FORTNIGHTLY CARD EVENING Another enjoyable card evening was spent at the Red Cross depot on Saturday last. The bridge competition was won by Sister Hayward and the five hundred by Mr O’Leary. Mesdames Thompson and Brooks were successful in the competition. Those present included: Mesdames C. G. Downes, Jourdain, S. Clark, O’Brien, Dawson, McArthur, S. Rickit, Dowds, Blundell, Rainey, Brooks, Marsh, Knight, Roberts, Warburton, Mensforth, Bluck, Finlay, McNamara, Boryer, Bell, Irwin, Elliott, Shutte, Thomson, Hutchinson, Farrell, Tuck, Ryan, V- O’Leary, Sister E. Hayward, Miss Dobson and Miss Hewison (Hamilton).
