MONTH OF JUNE VERY DRY ONLY FIVE RAIN DAYS In common with many other places in the Auckland province, Te Awamutu experienced the driest June for many years, only 1.41 inches being recorded by Mr W. Jeffery for the whole month. Of this total, -55 inches fell yesterday, the first wet day since Bth June. There were only five rain days in the month, which was also one of the coldest for some time.
