WOMEN’S DIVISION

KORAKONUI BRANCH. The Korakonui branch of the Women’s Division celebrated its fifth birthday with a very enjoyable party on Wednesday last. The hall had been lavishly decorated for the function, which drew a large attendance of members and visitors from Te Kawa, Ngaroma, and Te Awamutu. Mrs J. R. Kay was chairwoman. During the afternoon songs were rendered by Mrs Wade (Te Kawa), Mis Kerr, and Mrs W. Gaughey. The birthday cake was cut by Mrs W. G. Neill.

Competitions were won by Mrs Me Clintock (Auckland) and Mrs Kerr.
