Miss Joy Corin has returned to Te Kuiti after spending her annual holiday in Auckland, Pukekbhe and Te Awamutu.
Mr and Mrs H. H. Hutt, of Ngaruawahia, and Mr and Mrs E. Brown, of Silverdale, were visitors to Te Awamutu on Saturday.
The. appointment is gazetted of M: O. V. Lattimore as registrar of mar riages, births and deaths at Otorohanga.
The engagement is announced between Vera, only daughter of Mr and Mrs S. V. Docherty, of Glen Massey, and John Alexander, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. Mackenzie, Ngahape.
At the annual meeting of the South Auckland Croquet Association Mrs J. R. Fow (Hamilton) was elected president, and among members elected to the executive was a Te Awamutu representative. Mrs F. W. Bevin.
