MORRINSVILLE PRICES.

New Zealand Loan ond Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. Hamilton report as follows on their Morrinsville Stock Sale held on Friday, there being a full yarding of fat boner and dairy cattle. No heavy prime beef was yarded, the yarding consisting mostly of fat Jersey cows and boners. The advertised line of dairy heifers was not in the best condition but sold for good money under the circumstances. Competition was not as keen as at recent markets, but a total clearance was effected. There was a small yarding of yearling cattle, prices being low and in keeping with other classes of stock. The advertised line of wethers was yarded and sold under good competition. We quote:—Medium quality fat Jersey cows £3 15s to £4 10s; lighter £3 7s to £3 'l2s; heavy boners £2 10s to £3 Is; medium 30s to £2 4s; yearling heifers to £2 ss; others £1 Is to £2; yearling steers to 12s 6d; dairy heifers; medium quality heifers £6 to £6 15s; smaller £5 to £5 15s; others £3 10s to £4 12s 6d; small store lambs 4s 3d. to 4s 7d; medium store wethers 10s to Ils; small cull wethers 4s to 7s.
