REGENT THEATRE. AGAIN TO-’NIGHT AND TO-MOR-ROW. “MAD ABOUT MUSIC.” , So great has been the public patronage offering for the picture “Mad About Music,” starring Deanna Durbin, that the Regent Theatre management has arranged for matinee perforniaqpes to-day and to-morrow, in addition to the evening screenings. Patrons last Saturday evening were very appreciative of the offering, and re-bookings have been numerous—sufficient indication in itself of the merit of the picture. EMPIRE THEATRE. Last autumn English film scouts persisted in their offers for her services, and while on the way from Australia to England she visited Hollywood and RKO Radio came out the winner among producers who sought her contract signature. In her first American role she is co-featured with Vincent Haworth, Leslie Fenton and Gordon Jones in the action, romance and mystery dramta “China Passage,” now at the Empire Theatre. Miss Worth plays the part of a U.S. Customs agent.

COMMENCING WEDNESDAY. “ADVENTURE’S END.” “Adventure’s End,” Universal’s sea story by Ben Ames Williams, which has John Wayne and Diana Gibson in the leading roles, has been booked for an early showing at the Empire Theatre. It is said to be crammed full of action, and as colourful as the Pacific Ocean upon which it was filmed. “Adventure’s End” has a powerful supporting cast, including such screen favourites as Montagu Love, Moroni Olsen, Maurice Black and Patrick Kelly. It also has Paul White, a 13 year old Negro from the New York stage. He played with the Theatre Guild.
