MEADOWLAND ANNUAL SALE. The annual sale of pedigree Jersey bulls will be held at the Meadowlands farm, Qtorohanga, on Tuesday of next week. Recently a sale of imported bulls was held in Auckland, and the top priced bulls were all from the same families as the imported bulls now at Meadowland. Included in the sale are the sons of the new imported bull Designs Monarch' whose daughters have been winning prizes in Jer sey Island and who is closely related to the imported bull recently sold in Auckland for 560 guineas. The Meadowland herd has always been noted for the results obtained from the use of the bulls purchased from it. Many of the breeders in this district have been using Meadowland bulls with marked success. A typical example is that Mr M. Anso, of Kio Kio, whose herd of 89 cows, averaged 364 lbs fat this season. Included in the sale is the champion bull The Squire of Meadowland, who has been taking championships at Pukekohe, Hamil ton, Te Awamutu and Otorohanga. FRANKTON STOCK SALE.
