A BENEFIT SOCIAL

In order to assist Mr and Mrs McEnteer, who suffered a heavy loss in the i*ecent fire at Waihou, a social has been organised to be held in the Waihou Hall on Friday, May 22nd. A strong appeal is being made foxhelp, and the basket which all attending are requested to take are to be auctioned, a prize to be given for the basket realising the largest sum of money. The music will be by Darby’s orchestra, and items will be given by some of the best concert performers. Further particulars are advertised.
