BUILDING SOCIETY

NEW GROUP TO BE OPENED A'meeting of the executive of the Te Aroha Terminating Building Society was held on Monday evening, and in view of the great success of the first group it was decided to o_pen group No. 2. The success of group ~ No. 1 may be estimated from the fact that in a little over twelve months the group made allocations totalling over £3500. A holder of five shares has an equal chance with other shareholders at any ballot of drawing £SOO, and this should be an incentive to all those aspiring to own their own homes to join up and become members. It may not be generally known that loans obtained from the Society are repayable without interest, ancf** in this respect the borrower has a big advantage compared with those who avail themselves of the Government loans.
