The following table is based upon the returns of the New Zealand Cooperative Herd Testing Association for the month of December in the following groups: v MANAWARU Highest herd average: 48.67, No. of cows in herd 68; lowest herd average: 29.92, No. of cows in herd 51; highest cow, 96.03; lowest cow, 9.90. TE AROHA Highest herd average: 45.42, No. of cows in herd 88; lowest herd average: 29.27, No. of cows in herd 46; highest cow, 99.36; lowest cow, 7.80. The best cow in the Association gave 28051 b milk, 4.2, test, 117.811 b fat.

The worst cow in the Association gave 1201 b milk, 3.0 test, 3.601 b fat.
