CONFUSION AND CLARITY

Every evil is but confusion. What strikes you when talking with a criminal is his jumbled vision. He has lost all sense of proportion. He imagines the most absurd things to be worth while. The best man is the man who sees most clearly. Disease is confusion. Good health is the harmony of all one’s organs. Pain is physical mutiny, riot, and conflagration among the cells. Insanity is mental confusion. Tarbidity, despair, self-pity and all doltish doldrums of the mind are indications of undisciplined thought. If you are confused, do nothing. Wait until the storms blow ov<ir. Goodness is clarity of heart. Wisdom is clarity of rnind. Faith, hope and charity—but the greatest of them is clarity.
