NOVELTY CONCERT

MISS MYRA ROSS

There was a delighted andapprqciative audience last Monday night "of, last week at Walton Hall, when Mis§ ; ,' ,M. Ross and her musical proteges ! entertained a crowded house for the benefit of the Hall Fund (says the “Times” of Monday last). The concert party included Mr W. H. Smales,. elocutionist and sleight-of-hand artist, and Miss T. McPhail, danseuse. Stage decorations and lighting, effects were undertaken by Joyland, under the' personal direction of Mr J. Loughlin, being responsible for most pleasing color schemes and soft fairyland vistas. An excellent touch of experienced artistry was afforded by the conversion of the stage into a bijou drawing-room, admirably adapted for the production of refined art. Most of the items were of merit, recalls being numerous. Mr W. H. Reynolds had charge of the stage arrangements for the concert and there was no hitch in this department. In the course of the evening, Mr McLean, for the Hall Committee, publicly thanked Miss Myra Ross for her highly successful effort and stated that the public was deeply indebted to her. s '

Miss Ross will stage a grand novelty concert at the Theatre Royal on 10th December. i
