ACCIDENT

KICKED BY A STALLION A young man named Thomas Saxon, employed by Mr E. Mikkelsen, Waitoa, was leading home the stallion Marcellus Yet from the Show grounds, on Wednesday evening, and whilst endeavouring to stop a horse going in the opposite direction he unfortunately stepped behind the stallion which, in lashing out at the other horse, kicked the man over the heart. He was picked up unconscious and cqnveyed to Glencairn Hospital, being attended b>' Dr. Ingiis. He regained consciousness about davyn yesterday morning but so far his injuries fiavc not been defined..-
